Quotes
- Quotes are free, provided in writing, and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- The quoted price covers the scope written in the quote. Work you add on the day is quoted and agreed before we do it.
- A quote can be revised before work starts if site conditions differ materially from what was described or shown in photos (for example, access that was represented as open is not).
Booking, payment, and cancellation
- No deposit is required until a work date is booked. Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- You can cancel or reschedule without charge up to 48 hours before the booked date.
- Weather delays happen in this trade. If we postpone for safety, your booking moves to the next available date at the same price.
Your responsibilities
- Confirm the tree is yours to remove. Trees on municipal property or straddling a boundary line need the owner's or the municipality's authorization, and we will decline work without it.
- Tell us about known hazards on the property: septic beds, irrigation lines, invisible dog fences, private utilities.
- Keep people and pets clear of the work area while the crew is on site.
Our responsibilities
- We carry commercial general liability insurance and WSIB coverage, and will provide certificates on request before work begins.
- We arrange utility locates where ground work such as stump grinding requires them.
- We complete the written scope, remove debris as quoted, and repair damage caused by our negligence.
Limitations
Trees are living things and assessments are professional opinions, not guarantees of future behaviour. We are not responsible for the failure of trees or limbs we recommended removing and were instructed to leave, for pre-existing damage, or for underground items that were not marked and could not reasonably be known. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Ontario.
